Hollinger Consulting, LLC provides professional services in the field of blindness and visual impairment. Professional services include consulting, specialized instruction, independent evaluations, professional workshops and trainings and expert witness services. Kevin Hollinger, President and Owner, has a diverse educational background and is a National Board Certified Teacher as an Exceptional Needs Specialist, a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist and holds Missouri teaching certificates in Visual Impairment, Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, and Mental Retardation.
Kevin Hollinger currently serves as a National Advisor for the Braille Institute of America (BIA), is an active Board Member and Chair of the Orientation and Mobility Subject Matter Expert Committee for the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), was a Board Member and Chair of the Orientation and Mobility Division for the Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AERBVI), taught as an Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University, and remains the Director of the Summer Orientation and Mobility and Adapted Living Program through the Lighthouse for the Blind – St. Louis.
