As a Vision Impairment Specialist, Kevin Hollinger offers a range of services including consulting, specialized instruction, independent evaluations, professional workshops and training, and expert witness services.
Kevin Hollinger, President and Owner, holds a diverse set of credentials: he is a National Board Certified Teacher as an Exceptional Needs Specialist-Vision Impairment, a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist, a Certified Assistive Technology Instructional Specialist, and possesses lifetime Missouri teaching licenses in Visual Impairment, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, and Cognitive Impairment. He earned his B.S. in Communication Disorders, a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Master of Arts in Orientation & Mobility.
Kevin Hollinger is an active Board Member for Success Beyond Sight and serves on the Leader Dogs for the Blind Assistive Technology, Accessibility, and Advocacy Task Force as well as Francis Howell School District’s ADA Committee. He has previously been Chair of the Orientation & Mobility Subject Matter Expert Committee and a Board Member for the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP). Additionally, Kevin was Chair of the Orientation & Mobility Division and a Board Member for the Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AERBVI).
Kevin is also a textbook chapter author, has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, and co-authored many position papers in the field of blindness and low vision. He has taught as Adjunct Faculty at Lindenwood University and the University of Massachusetts – Boston, and remains the Director of the Summer Orientation & Mobility and Adapted Living Resource Program at the Lighthouse for the Blind – St. Louis.
